Perfect job if you're looking to be docile and stagnant
Pros
Consistency in clientele This is an OKAY job for someone fresh out of school. As an experienced Esthetician of 8 years. Had been with the company for 3 years. Continually exceeded goals, and little to NO praise I was making pennies ($0.65) more than someone FRESH out of esthetics school. Really disgusting. For an Esthetician in my area with my experience I was making on average $4/hour less that what I should have been. No competition in pay, and when pay was discussed "my hands are tied" was the response that I got, or "I will work on molding you so we can move you up in the company" -- Never happened. If I could give this company "0" stars ... I would
Cons
If you're looking to be stagnant in a job you can stop looking! From day one I was mislead with the intentions and integrity of the company as well as given misleading intentions with growth in the company. Benefit Cosmetics knowingly employs management who openly discuss their customers on PUBLIC forums. Benefit Cosmetics knowingly employs management that state on public forums "I hope she gets herpes for Christmas" referring to a customer of theirs. I decided to part ways with Benefit Cosmetics solely because of this reason. My personal views did not allow me to continue working for a company that knowingly employs someone with such diabolical behavior. Benefit had no response to me when I reach out to management about this matter. Shame. On. You.
