Gratis (free makeup) from Benefit twice a year, gratis when a new product launches, if you work in an Ulta you sometimes get gratis from the store, fun job with adorably packaged products and cute marketing, contests keep you from getting bored and they offer money as your reward if you win a contest, great tips, Benefit gives you adorable aprons and props to work with to draw attention to the bar.

Cons

Really no downsides. My only complaint is sometimes they schedule only one person for prestige or none at all and I'm left trying to help people on the floor, but I can't assist guests if I'm busy providing waxing services at the brow bar.

Pros

I've been working as an esthetician for benefit for 9 months. The gratis is great. The clients are awesome and tip stupid amounts of money. Upbeat and fast paced work environment.

Cons

Management is uneducated and unprofessional. Very cliquey and untrustworthy. They will throw you under the bus at any given moment. The hours are HORRIBLE. You'll work until 9PM on Saturday and then have to come in on Sunday, too. Forget ever seeing your friends and family. Half of the year is "black out period" so you literally cannot take any time off and they will laugh in your face if you even bring it up. You will never be given a Saturday off as an esty. Meanwhile, the BAs get one weekend off every month? You stand on your feet ALL day. 9 hours. The most physically draining job I've ever had. The BAs will book you back, to back, to back, to back. You wont even have time to pee or eat a snack. You will constantly be pre-selling for SOMETHING. OH, and traffic stopping.. what a joke.
