Pros

There are not any pros other than 2% commission on products in HOF.. if you are brow trained you get more Free starter kit Allocation Free product on new launches

Cons

No work life balance, days off are not together, you can work 9 days in a row, managers are patronising and treat you like a slave. The business is incredibly pushy with high targets of £500 per day even when the store is busy and the footfall is not there, you are sent to traffic stop in the shop and outside of it’s not busy inside, Benefit are the toddlers of the beauty hall! Such an immature brand that isn’t taken seriously with managers that are too young to know what they are doing. Very stressful job and most girls who work there are miserable. You have to force people to buy products and “stock pile” to intimidate customers into buying products. Managers steal sales!! No room for progression as it’s impossible to meet targets and move onto passport to progress within the industry. Full of false promises

Pros

They explained the process and timeline clearly and were willing to work with me on the date and location of the interview. There was support at each stage

Cons

If you are uncomfortable with meeting and greeting customers the practical part of the interview process might feel unpleasant. At this stage you are observed as you engage customers and apply vendor products on them.

Pros

Free make up and good rate of pay

Cons

Didn't receive any make up training so basically had to wing it every time I did someones make up which wasn't fair on the client. Had unrealistic targets and would have to practically force people to buy products. Management didn't seem to understand that my priority was university. Although the majority of girls on the counter were nice there was a battle of egos and school like tensions.
