Pros

They promote a party atmosphere and encourage creativity. each day is unique. It is an innovative company that values its clients and employees equally.

Cons

It can be overwhelming if you do not delegate and manage your time properly. You are encouraged to stay late. Importance is placed on willingness to ignore other obligations.

WELL PAYED BUT BULLYING FROM MANAGERS

Pros

Good Pay SOME Free products Great place to start makeup counter jobs Get to play with makeup/ chat with friendly customers

Cons

Sales Target are crazy high - even when you hit them and exceed they want more, more and more. Forced to traffic stop in quiet stores - constant nagging by managers and other staff that have been their longer to 'GO FIND A CUSTOMER' when there is no one in store and you have tried your very best. Area managers/counter managers are employed with bullying traits - manipulation and guilt, I personally had a very bad experience. It was a strange experience considering I was reaching the best target sales per day for BA at my counter. Sore feet - you are standing around for a long day. Training is ridiculous at what they want you to say and do. It is an american brand, a lot of their 'sayings' and 'quotes' do not work with the British public like they would do in America perhaps - if anything what you are told to say alienates customers. I left my first one feeling brain washed. I couldn't get over how humiliating one of the product launches was - a lot of the mature staff refused to take part as it was not what they signed up for the job to do - targeted to be fun but is not in the slightest. Need to rethink their approach to staff rather than ramming it down their throats.
