Great brand, mediocre corporate culture

Pros

It's hard not to love this job. Brand is amazing, growing by the minute, and they have beautiful offices that make you want to come to work every day.

Cons

ThIs is a big brand that grew too fast from their early entrepreneurial state, therefore, there's an epidemic of very clueless characters holding upper management/executive positions who have no business being there. HR department doesn't foster a culture of appreciation, motivation and growth. Overall public sentiment is that you are just 'stuck'.

I loved working at the Brow Bar--great clients, awesome coworkers, fun events! Tips were nice, too. This job taught me a lot about customer service, being comfortable talking to anyone, and turning challenges into opportunities.

Cons

Having to stop people who pass by on slow days and hearing "no" a lot gets kind of hard. It was kind of fun trying to think of new ways to talk to people, though.

It is a fun company that has amazing marketing/ branding. The counters and boutiques have a great energy that makes coming to work everyday fun!

Cons

High pressure sales/ work environment. There is not clear career paths from the counters to the corporate office.
