Pros

they treat employees extremely fair. Benefit Cosmetics is a LVMH (Louis Vuitton-Moet Hennessy) company so the benefits are awesome! (no that does not mean Louis Vuitton discounts)

Cons

Most of Benefit Cosmetics counters are inside a macy's store so you're considered a 'vendor' and do not get a Macy's discount. time off policies are a bit drastic having to plan things far off in advance.

Pros

Love my job! My executive is supportive, not pushy. We discussed my two year goal for a promotion, and together, we made it happen in a years time. Beauty counter has an expected work flow, if you follow it, your goals are reached and the day goes pretty fast. Clients for this line are laid back and usually open to a service or product. As an esthetician, I have built a very loyal clientele, and enjoy all my brow stars. Products are actually effective, services are really popular. Paid holidays, vacations, sick days, and benefit packages that most in this industry cannot dream of. 401k, life insurance and gratis.

Cons

Pack aging of product gets old ... it's immature and cheap at times and not something I want to pull out of my purse to show off, ever. Sad, because our products work, and are very concentrated. A couple of steps up the lady ladder would benefit the growth of the company even more, as competition has worse product and still sell due to the acceptability of the packaging. That's what appeals to women. Also, higher pay after you meet and exceed goals year after year. I hate having to ask.
