Pros

Very family oriented and good benefits It's a great place if you want to put your head down, stay in the same job, not expect advancement but have a very stable and secure position.

Cons

It's still run by an iron fist by brothers who don't want to hear opinions that differ from theirs. They don't understand, furthermore value marketing. The technical brother will change products at last minute for no reason other than curiosity, regardless of market needs or promises. The CEO brother will go through 50 revisions of a press release as his is the only voice that matters while building no cohesion between product lines and messages. Marcom exists only to serve his wants and build his presentations. Product marketing was probably built when he was told it was important, but they got rid of experienced folks with minds of their own and kept people who understood that product marketing had nothing to do with products and were just presentation builders for their own management. Too much politics and ego, to little camaraderie and to much push only from that top. And that's while they claim nobody's really an "employee," a verboten word. They're "collegues." However, they're as much colleagues as Russians were comrades under Stalin, humorous coming from right wing founders. They even didn't give raises to North American employees claiming the gains were good enough while, somehow, they still took out lots of money for their horse farms.

Pros

Enjoyed working here years ago when we had better senior leadership who allowed us to have a bit of fun while at work. Kept things light and less stressful.

Cons

A constant push to rush tasks and projects creates undue stress within the department. Many fellow colleagues feel negatively, but all feel afraid to speak up, as leadership is not very receptive to critique. Also never provides quality raises outside of a minimum 2% yearly standard of living raise (which was not even given in 2020)

Pros

Great company overall, Aggressive M&A, vision looks to be in the right direction.

Cons

Extremely poor middle management, especially with the whole sales management team which which took over beginning of this year. More worried about covering each others bottoms than really take time to study about the new M&A's and device plans accordingly. Extremely insecure and petty. Though i still have good things to talk about the company as a whole, stay away from the sales department at the HQ in Exton. Middle managers tend to hide behind traditions, which is funny when you consider that this is a company is in a rapid growth phase with aggressive acquisitions, often with no clue or plan in place for the transitions. Trend over the recent years is to cull the employee population to fit the annual projected revenue targets. For a company which prides in having family values, this is the best irony. Sr. managers often rides on the hard work put in place by their predecessors. If you are going in there as an employee (to the sales floor), my advice is to go with your eyes wide open, keep your options open all the while too.
