Bergdorf Goodman reviews

Do not be fooled by the reviews left by the store/sales employees. Bergdorf Goodman has a horrible corporate setting. A company that doesn’t value its employees and the hard work they provide in order to keep the business running is never a good idea. BG is not what any person who is looking to work in fashion should settle for either. Yes, there are great brands and yes there is great history associated with the store but what good does that do for anyone who actually wants to grow their career if the company doesn’t believe in fostering growth. The company pays a salary well below the fashion industry’s average and doesn’t do much else to compensate for it seeing as vacation days are limited and the health benefits are poor. Furthermore, the HR team does not do their job in working towards correcting these issues nor does it take a stance against unacceptable behavior and actions that occur throughout the office quite frequently. Beware of the red flags, do not ignore them because of the name “Bergdorf Goodman” as so many others erroneously did.

It seems like it's a great learning experience but DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!(KEEP JOB HUNTING) Most personal shoppers are completely out of their minds and emotionally unstable. You see grown women behave likes teenagers...It's ridiculously sad and disappointing. Upper Management may seem like they care, but they really don't.
