Berkshire has great compensation, benefits, rent discount, flexibility with schedules and is family oriented. The promotion program is employee driven. Great support from upper management

Cons

At times, it takes an act of Congress to get some things done. This has caused issues with customer service, but at the same time it is understandable.

-Awesome benefits. -Compensated MORE than fairly. -Employees come first.

Cons

-This is a customer service industry which come with better hours than restaurant or retail but still has extended hours and weekends. -Movement within the company is all about timing and not always available.

Pros

Upper management always share our yearly and/or long term vision and mission so that we all understand and can be on the same page. Company provides a great support and training and great benefits.

Cons

The yearly same merit increase of 3% for the last 10 years may need to be evaluated and need to be increased to 4% or 5%. In order for us (employees) to really increase our income is by moving up the ladder (get a higher position) since the 3% yearly merit does not help much, especially to those making less money hourly.
