      Pros

      BerryDunn offers a lot of flexibility for work-life balance and employee development opportunities, and speaks often about commitment to progressive workplace and excellent client service. Primarily strong as an accounting firm. Some areas of strength in the Consulting side of the firm.

      Cons

      The consulting side of the firm varies in its quality of staffing and performance. Many areas of mediocrity. Several managers have risen through the internal ranks but lack actual experience and field-earned expertise. Practice group principles may “manage” but not have leadership skills or experience with supervising a staff team of high skill self-directed experts. Poor delegation processes.

      Pros

      Flexibility to work remote and around time off. Depending on team, opportunity to travel.

      Cons

      People in management roles weren’t prepared to manage, leaving the rest of the team confused on the direction of project work. Deeply unprofessional during my transition out of the job.
