Pros

I've worked with best buy for over two years now. I enjoy every single one of my employees, especially those who work very close to me in my department. Although there is sometimes high school drama, I've made some good friends there. A lot of the people have been there for over a year, and at my store, the turnover rate is very low. There are opportunities to move up and work at corporate.

Cons

The management is incompetent at times. They treat us like we're 15 and think that it's our career. I guess it should be understood that it's their career though. The managers NEVER help out, and never work on the floor and love to huddle and cry if they have to help. There is a lot of favoritism. In order to succeed you must transfer far away to move up.

Pros

The benefits are good. Career opps are not too bad.

Cons

The managment alot of times is very pushing and says we are not on commision yet as a customer assistant gives us a goal to hit and then we get in trouble if we dont hit it but no one says a word it we do. Supervisors are very pushy and not fair with pay at all. Managment talks about other employees on personal levels.
