Pros

Well to be really honest. 1. You will love the people you work with they arre very friendly and helpful when it is needed 2. Management. Some people in management are awesome when you need to answer any questions that you have if you are confused about what you should do or not do and barely have to Call Human Resources for anythin 3. Promotions are always good to get when you work hard and show why you are the best so the advice i would like to give is if you want to move up listen to the management that are already implace such as your senior, supervisor etc and they will help you if you want to move up in the company

Cons

The only downside of working at best buy is to have extreme pateince when dealing with customers. Some of them can be really annoying and others are just flat out rude always listen to the customer and make sure your are poite because in the end you are the expert and not them you know what product is good for them. Also Managers like always can be annoying and also sometimes can just leave you high and dry but you have to be the storng one against them and go to them and let them know that you need help. even if they are busy make them listen because they are not only there for the customer but they are there for you too.

Pros

One of the best reasons to work there is the benefits. The employee discount is pretty good, but only on specific items, the health package is great, the main thing for me is the Tuition Assistance program that Best Buy offers to their full-time employees; they pay for all of my schooling just as long as I have been an active full time employee for 6 months. The pay is also good, that is if you get the right position. The employee accommodation's that vendors offer is also a good thing, but you need to be on the look out for good deals all the time.

Cons

The management. I have worked at three different Best Buys and the management is the same everywhere. They don't care about the growth of their people, all they care about is profit growth and how it will help them, not you. They are unfair in promotions and only like to give it out to friends or people they have previously worked with regardless of the experience. It seems like Best Buy, at least in my area, is all about who you know and not what you know. Leadership also puts A LOT of pressure on the sales floor to sell so they can get their bonuses.

Pros

Flex-time and no time clock to punch. We all work on a results oriented schedule.

Cons

career development for this position is difficult. Opportunities must be created or forced and are not made available by management teams.
