Pros

The people you work with really care about you. Its a good place to learn about Retail and how the business world operates.

Cons

Management is less than stellar - customers can really be a pain

Pros

Great environment--lots of cool people. Everyone is really cool and knows a lot about the products. The working environment is very nice, and the store is laid back, but not too laid back. Management is usually cool, and willing to listen and help, but it really depends on what store you are working in, they all are different.

Cons

The pressure to sell to customers who don't want it. Management encourages you to push products, service plans, and credit cards on people who say no. They tend to be pushy and intrusive, asking personal questions and stuff. The environment is very male-centric.

Pros

fun people, alright benefits. 401k is great compared to similar jobs. 3 weeks time off a year. employee discount is amazing and easily the best benefit for working at best buy. It can be a nice place to work depending on what you like to do for a living and or for fun. Expect to work your butt off during the holidays

Cons

silly hours, some employees are useless and impossible to get them fired or moved to other positions.
