Pros

Being a franchise owner gives me the freedom and flexibility I want of owning my own business. The Franchisor organization isn't micro-managing our work or business decisions.

Cons

Most of the folks at HQ haven't run our type of business in our region. We don't get much direct, specific support in our area for the investment we make.

Pros

The whole company itself is a mess and has no process or organization, but the accounting department is worse. Management VP and CFO will NOT help the team when needed. Everyone is overworked and underpaid according to the market. A senior accountant that made $56,000 a year? It is a joke. They will work hour butt off, and pretty much every single month end you will do overtime because they are disorganized and understaff all the time. No one wants to work in accounting . You will ask for help and management will not help you. You will die asking for support. You will get more help from your coworkers than your own boss. They micromanage and call you 24/7 because they don’t trust you do be an adult and get the work done on your own. There is no room for growth here unless you fire the VP of finance and take her place.

Cons

Remote work and nothing else
