Company culture, growth potential, professionalism, encouraging team/co-workers and leadership is just the tip of the iceberg with Best Version Media! I’ve been working with Best Version Media for close to 6 years and can confidently say it is the best job I’ve ever had and I would be happy to be working with Best Version Media the rest of my life! The company culture is second to none due in large part to the encouraging and motivating spirit of the founding partners, who are present in the everyday operations of each and every department. They are easy to work with and truly value and respect every member of the team and every magazine and the community that magazine serves. Personally I have grown and learned so much about my field through working with BVM and have experienced not only the growth of BVM, but growth in myself as a professional and growth within my role in BVM.

I really haven't had any in my 6 years working with the company!

Very friendly team, lots of camaraderie, and pretty flexible work/life balance

Cons

Terribly underpaid. The tools to provide clients a positive experience really are minimal, and because of a lackluster product, the account managers really take on the heavy lifting to ensure there is no churn.

If you are a hard work, disciplined, and willing to learn here are the reasons to say yes to becoming a publisher at BVM. 1. A supportive, positive, and healthy family-like culture. 2. Top performers offer a wealth of knowledge on a daily basis - making success for people of all work backgrounds to succeed. 3. A no cap commission structure that rewards your effort. 4. Continual additions to product lines based on field team experience. 5. Genuinely impacting your local community and businesses with a unique platform. 6. You control your own schedule meaning you can choose to be the friend, spouse, partner, parent, or community leader that you choose to be. You can show up when it’s most important.

Cons

The only con to this role is the time it might take to reach commission pay. For some this can happen in a matter of weeks for others this may take months. In order to succeed it needs to be full time work.. meaning it’s possible you will need to rely on savings or a single income. If you aren’t committed to the role and taking your work hours seriously it will be difficult to succeed.
