Pros

After contracting the majority of the time for over 20 years I accepted a permanent position with Best Western and I'm glad I did. I won't tell you they are perfect but they are easily in the top 5% of companies I've seen. Compensation is fair if not overwhelming. Flexibility is fantastic. Management is pleasant and either truly cares about people or does a really good job pretending if they don't! Frequently they do things for everyone that are just "nice". From taking everyone on an outing to dropping off vouchers for free movie tickets. Small things that say a lot about the company.

Cons

Technologies in some areas are a bit stale and change comes slowly. But it does come! Things are a little tight on space at times because the company is growing but I expect they'll solve these problems.
