Pros

Location of HQ is near a freeway and near the center of town There are some good people

Cons

Most people are incompetent and they are allowed to hang around for years and years 80% of the work is done by a handful of people All costs are passed onto employees while executives enjoy special perks (e.g. health care premiums) The SVPs do not get along and use their staff as pawns in their soap opera style drama The is no real vision or innovation at this company The staff are treated as an afterthought It's impossible to recruit good talent because of our reputation and costly benefits

Pros

Employer relationship is casual and laid back. Clean work environment. Decent salary in relation to work requirements. Open door access to management. Employees receive a 50% discount on conference center space. Employees receive a "Friends and Family" rate on guest rooms. Company Christmas party, annually.

Cons

Employer relationship is casual and laid back. There are times when it is necessary to have serious and professional conversations with an employer, and it helps when the employer is able to be professional in return. Owned by a husband/wife team. Husband is a "good ole' boy" who thinks he's a lot smarter than he is. Wife is a smart business-minded person, but tends to be a little controlling. You won't get much freedom to think for yourself here. No benefits at all. No perks such as: use of the pool/fitness room/amenities for employees. Annual Christmas Party is pot luck and BYOB. Owners basically donate the space.
