Pros

At this point after 4 years i feel it's at least a paycheck. The only true satisfaction i get from my job is when you know the guests are happy with what you do to make their stay comfortable.

Cons

Just because you work at a Best Western Hotel does'nt mean you're working for that company, you work for the private owner, who really don't want to make sure employees are being treated fairly. It's all about the money and the name.

Pros

Every best westen is independently owned and operated so you never know how far development possibilites may go and what your options are.

Cons

The hotel flag may be a disadvantage in an area surrounded by upscale hotels, you need to get guests to overcome that perception at times.
