Pros

The pros about working at Overstock.com are you do have the opportunities to Advance in your career. Also the co-workers are all very helpful and great. And they do care about the customer.

Cons

The cons in Overstock.com do not pay as well as other companies in the industry, no education benefits. Schedule changing within 24 hours of shift, working 99.00 hours in a pay period. Raises taking over 5 weeks after promotion.

Pros

Stable, growing company. Very loyal teams and low turnover. The feel of the corporate office is that everyone is very devoted to their job, to the company, and very busy.

Cons

I never considered myself a workaholic before working at overstock, but I find myself working through lunches, staying late... etc. Sometimes this is a high-stress job.

Pros

I love Patrick and Stormy and thier encouragement and just the spirit they bring to this place. I love the family thing they are trying to create but it wont happen with all the favortism in this place.

Cons

I have been here for years and watched people pass me by time after time. I have managenent experience that they have never considered. I see trouble makers that should have been fired years ago be excused for thier actions time and again. The favortism is at an all time high in this place and seems like more and more people are unhappy and looking for optional jobs as they dont see a future here anymore. It is so frustrating to work hard for years and years with a perfect record with attendance, quality, you name it and then see new team leads that have just got hired and us (oldies) have to train them properly , because they are so new, but making more than you and you should have had thier job in the first place-NOT FAIR!!. You see people you work with for years change when they get power and unfortunatley not for the good. I hope that Stormy and Patrick figure out what is going on around here and fix it before too many of us are gone:(:(
