My experience with this company was overwhelmingly negative, and the primary reason was the culture fostered within Human Resources.
In my experience, HR presented itself as supportive and approachable, but that support disappeared when concerns or disagreements arose. I found the environment to be one where trust was discouraged rather than built. Employees were encouraged to believe HR was their advocate, yet many interactions left me feeling that information shared in confidence was later used against employees instead of to resolve problems.
The department's leadership appeared to create a culture where loyalty to leadership was valued more highly than fairness, transparency, or objective problem-solving. Rather than serving as an impartial resource for employees and management alike, HR often seemed focused on protecting itself and reinforcing a particular internal culture.
I also felt the company placed a significant emphasis on social and political messaging that, in my opinion, distracted from its core mission of supporting employees, customers, and business performance. Employees with differing viewpoints could reasonably feel that their perspectives were unwelcome.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to prospective employees. I also would not choose to do business with an organization whose internal culture, in my view, prioritizes ideology and internal politics over professionalism, accountability, and genuine employee support.
