Pros

The main reason I love Big Squid is the team and the collaborative environment. Everyone who works here is incredibly committed to the success of the company and solving challenging problems to help our customers grow and scale. Each day is a challenge and that makes it fun and exciting. I have worked very structured, large company positions and the freedom and flexibility to get my work done without being micromanaged is a perk that keeps me motivated and committed to Big Squid.

Cons

We are a start up and definitely run with that mentality. Wearing multiple hats is common and while fun, can be challenging to balance work load.

Pros

Energetic, purpose-driven culture. Freedom with accountability and focus on a mission to bring machine learning to the masses. Great benefits. Fast-growing, well-funded.

Cons

Start-up with many people wearing many hats. Fast-growing firm means there are times when the team gets spread thin, hectic periods of time. #start-up!

Pros

Good people to work with.

Cons

This company will not be around for long. They are a one client (Domo) consulting shop and that one client (Domo) will continue to take advantage of Big Squid Management's stupidity. Big Squid continues to flout their "Start Up" culture but what that really means is "Take a risk on this Predictive Tool Kit we can't sell" and what it means to the employees is that they take hits to bonuses they work really hard toward achieving, but ultimately don't get paid out. Because Management over promises and WAY-underdelivers. Stay away.
