Pros

-Team on a mission. -Employees care about our clients and fight for their needs. Sometimes, we get a bit tense with each other in defense of a client. -Amazing Product, Engineering and Support teams. -Culture is strong; You will love coming to work. -3 great office locations: Austin, SF and Sydney -Executive team aligned, mature and get along with each other. This is the most important point. I've been at startups with immature and sniping management team. It's very demotivational.

Cons

-Employees care about our clients and fight for their needs. Sometimes, we get a bit tense with each other in defense of a client. - Tough competitive landscape often causes rapid shifts in direction.

Pros

I moved to San Francisco a year and half ago and have had multiple short term jobs, and I am so happy that I finally landed with Bigcommerce. Everything about the company and my job is amazing. I have a great team and an AMAZING boss. I always feel comfortable speaking my mind and sharing my ideas. Even though I am a pretty entry level position, I don't feel like I am belittled all. Everyone really listens to and accepts my thoughts. The culture and overall team is also amazing. We have really fun happy hours for every holiday as well as on Fridays. People are also really supportive of other people and we always celebrate engagements, birthdays, anniversarys, weddings, etc. Great office location on 3rd and market, super central. Also, free lunch every day is amazing! Worklife balance is also amazing. Unlimited PTO means that if I can take time off if I need to. People leave work early if they need to, take half days if they need to. No one is ever reprimanded for taking a vacation. Working here is just the best work-life balance I have ever experience. Every manager, director, and VP is so incredibly supportive and aware of all the employees. I never feel like my position is less important than a VPs.

Cons

Nope, no cons at all!

Pros

You'll work hard, but the payoffs are many. The company is growing really fast, all employees are shareholders, leaders do a good job of communicating our roadmap, and there are a lot of opportunities for advancement. The benefits are great and management allows flexibility (work from home, extended time off) when business needs allow for it. More than anything though, I'm here for the team. Those around me genuinely care about each other and their work product. They are smart, driven, and want to do an excellent job not just to benefit themselves and the company, but to lift up our clients and their own team members.

Cons

The company is driving hard and moving fast towards big goals. While this can be exciting and offer rewarding challenges, sometimes it can be stressful and chaotic.
