Pros

I guess they had snacks in the break room at times.

Cons

This company had so much disconnect between directors, supervisors, and other employees. Lots of insensitive remarks made and passive aggressive behavior. It’s a toxic workplace and you won’t find much joy in working here. Many HR violations and HR was almost nonexistent.

Pros

Pto is great, paid medical and dental with Kaiser and Lincoln.

Cons

No consistency, too many changing answers on protocols, no raises when promised, unrealistic expectations.

Loved My Job and Mission of BWC!

Pros

I learned a lot in my job and had a really supportive director. The center serves the toughest kids and has focus of doing whatever it takes to help them transition to independence. I loved the youth and passion of center toward no fail approach. Center also took on community issues like reducing incarceration and ending homelessness which I like. Also had good benefits and retirement. I only left because I moved.

Cons

COVID made it difficult to serve people remotely. No one’s fault just how the world was. I felt administrators tried their best but moving to life with Zoom was not the same as face-to-face meetings.
