      Great work culture, strong ethics and fun place to work.Lot of growth opportunities.Awesome people and a strong product line.One gets a lot of exposure.

      Where top-down management never goes out of style

      Pros

      Nice and smart colleagues. Interesting work. Digital biology business is really cool.

      Cons

      Very, very conservative place. When in doubt, have your question addressed by a secretive group of white men who hand down a verdict (verdict almost always, "let's continue as before") through intermediaries. A flexible workplace...as long as the flexibility is on the part of the employee. Lately, as results have been so-so and people getting fired, an edge of cynicism and fear about the place. Compensation is at the low end.

      Decent benefits, work/life balance. Most employees have families.

      Cons

      As others have stated, very much committed to "the way we've always done it." Certain teams committed to fulfilling one's ego, not to meeting industry standards.
