      Pros

      - Stable - Very friendly atmosphere where you can walk up to anyone's desk for help - People tend to stay at Bio-Rad for years and years - Recently, some of the perennially poor performing employees have left. I hope that trend continues

      Cons

      - A manufacturing company that happens to build software, not a software company - Lots of unnecessary paperwork in the software world - Older average age = this is the way we do things - Pay is below industry average - Each person is expected to manage too many projects

      Trying to think of one pro but drawing a blank.

      Cons

      IT Mgmt is good at bullying contractors to avoid making changes to the IT environment. They work very hard at avoiding work and change. The moral of the IT group is very low. The engineers have zero respect for the managers.
