Pros

Nice people, good place to work if you're on the office/admin side. Lower requirements for entry level positions to get your foot in the door in the Biotech/pharma industry.

Cons

Significantly lower compensation compared to other biotech companies in the area not to mention new hires are being started at even lower pay than they were 2+ years ago. Annual/merit increases were in the range of 1-5%- nowhere near even covering the cost of inflation. Rapid growth plus poor planning lead to huge degradations to the work-life balance of the production teams. Both mid-level and senior management are completely out of touch with the day to day operations leading to unrealistic production goals. Retention not prioritized, if you bring up any legitimate concerns you will be reminded of your at-will employment status. Hard work is not often recognized, the most vital members of the team were always rewarded with being buried in more work.

Pros

Compensation was standard. WFH flexibility depending on team.

Cons

Disparate systems and processes across subsidiaries. Communication from the c suite to the rank and file is lackluster at best. Senior leadership awards themselves compensation bumps and title increases while company performs poorly.

Pros

Stock awards are generally refreshed annually

Cons

Leadership takes an extremely long time to execute administrative items, such as formally granting stock awards after communicating the awards to employees. Management is focused on growth and acquisition with almost no focus on integrating companies already acquired and fixing existing operational issues. The companies overall do not collaborate effectively and it is very difficult to get buy-in from other departments and other companies to drive change. Management is also focused on costs and margins and holding down employee base pay (pay rate increases not keeping up with inflation) with exception to significant pay increases for executives in recent years (per officer comp in SEC filings).
