Salary is well below industry standard. Sales people are treated like commodities. They're always blamed for failures but never given any credit for company successes. No acknowledgement programs for top performers i.e. Salesperson of the Year, President Club etc.

Many scientists are not skilled in what they do. Equipment and practices are in violation of FDA regulations (research only equipment used for manufacturing product, poorly written protocols that workers don't follow/ employees are directed to misrepresent data and procedures…). Discrimination is allowed, atmosphere is contentious (yelling is not uncommon), buildings aren't up to ADA standards. Laboratories are unsafe, lack much of standard equipment (no vacuum lines, no floor drains, extension cords hanging from ceiling near solutions) and standard safety practices are ignored. Pay is absolutely terrible, health benefits for dependents is expensive (>$400/month). Location is bad— not good for walking/ getting lunch (in an industrial area with homeless camped nearby). Many senior staff are hostile and incompetent and there is absolutely favoritism ingrained in the company.
