Pros

Benefits are ok. Pay is ok although stagnant internally. Some good people remaining for now.

Cons

Micromanagement from managers who understand little. Disingenuous management who speaks in manner completely inconsistent with actions. Punitive and toxic culture. Performance failing as talent had fled poor decisions over last 5 years or more. Fraudulent leadership (HR at the center) taking advantage of good people. Too many Merck and Amgen imports who think too highly of those companies and brought the toxic, political realities (not recognizing that Biogen RTP HAS BEEN far better). Adu situation. Low raises for internal talent, HR meddling, taking talent base for granted, importing Merck/Amgen/BigPharma personnel, managing messaging rather than reality, numerous meetings over minutia and abstract nonsense, and a culture of losing. Biogen RTP 2021.

Pros

Young team and good environment to work on. I believe it is a good place to start career if you learn really fast. You will learn a lot on job if the people can keep up. Responsibilities will ramp up and be attributed in a quick way (good and bad). Funds seem to have no end for projects. No door policy. Improvement ideas always welcomed. Interesting benefits. Company growing fast leads to places opening up. Diversity and inclusion are big in this company, all teams are multinational.

Cons

Location of the site is remote. Messy organization of work and poor training of people leads to a sink or swim situation too quickly. Onboarding is almost non existent. Work life balance is very bad, as too many over hours are expected of many people to fulfil unreasonable goals and has lead to known cases of burnout in less than a year. Lack of resources for the workload. HR is a distant to barely existent partner. Managers are too focused on goals and not on the people they manage. Salary and progression seems unfair through teams and not related to responsibilities. Values the company states seem just for show and with no real connection. Finger pointing is the most common action after issues occur. Departmental competition and blame game is just ridiculous and too often.
