Pros
Remote work option. Some managers are genuinely supportive, though experiences vary widely across teams.
Cons
No real work-life balance if you are part of the design team. Designers are expected to commit to timelines even when requirements are incomplete and directionless. Project roadmaps change frequently, yet designers are still blamed for delays by PMs, engineering, and senior leadership. There is a clear lack of strong design leadership. The focus is almost entirely on pushing dates rather than helping designers grow, improve their craft, learn, or gain meaningful career opportunities. A strong “yes-man” culture exists. Teams are placed under artificial and unnecessary pressure. Micromanagement is excessive multiple sheets, trackers, daily and weekly follow-ups that keep changing, which makes it feel like leadership lacks clarity on standards and processes.
