Pros

Decent Pay and Insurance Benefits People at the local level are great.

Cons

Where to start: This company is a great example of a startup that thinks way too much of itself, or rather the founders do. To begin with, there isn't much in the product that other companies couldn't do. So much work is done offshore in India which means its CHEAP and so you get what you pay for. As an organization, things are so scattered, so disorganized and dysfunctional that when they talk of the company going public one day I hope no one blows a fortune investing.

Disorganized Chaos led by incompetent Execs

Pros

There are some good people floating around at the company but unfortunately are stuck inside the web of chaos.

Cons

Pretty much everything. The pay is not competitive. You will not be trusted no matter how many years of experience you have. If your opinion differs at all you are wrong. Trust me it is not worth your time or effort to try to fix the wreckage that is this company. The C level execs have no idea how to run a functional company and are completely disillusioned by their own narcissism. Watch out for the fake reviews on Glassdoor as well. The CEO forced everyone to write them trying to improve his own online reputation. It’s kind of weird you have to force your own employees to write good reviews when that is the business you are in and have no idea how to actually generate that naturally. The company itself is floundering and blame is laid on everyone else. Everything is broken all the time or that’s what they make you believe when in reality the execs can’t accept when the execs make poor business decisions and they are the reason the company is failing. This is not a place to go if you actually want to grow your career. You are going to be told how to do your job and micromanaged into panic attacks. There is no actual corporate strategy since is changes every other week and no one has any idea what is supposed to be the main goal of the hour. Even if you do join there is a high potential your job is going to be offshored within the next 6-12 months to save cost. Please head the advise of the other real reviews and stay far far away.

Birdeye does not treat employees like humans

Pros

Birdeye has a decent product that can sell itself pretty well.

Cons

Toxic culture where employees are treated like cogs in a machine. If you read the negative reviews on here you'll see it's a recurring theme. They have an old school, archaic, outdated mentality towards work/life balance where working yourself to the point of burnout is some sort of badge of honor. They impose that on employees. In my 11 year career, Birdeye has the poorest company culture I've ever experienced. Looking at some of the more recent reviews from current employees it seems that hasn't changed.
