Pros

You get to spend time with animals and you’re not required to do much other than watch them and provide a safe environment

Cons

Your in a room painted an obnoxious blue for 8 hours. No room for improvement or moving up within the work place because managers employ people they know or coworkers they are friends with above the people who actually put in work. It is stressful to be the only one watching 20 dogs at one time. You’re not allowed to sit during the shift or be on your phone so your just spacing out for 8 hours.

1. Passive Aggressive management 2. Sometimes there would be one person in a play area with like 40 large dogs. That’s dangerous! 3. Lack of training for the new employees 4. Managing doesn’t understand what it’s like to be a dog handler so therefore, unrealistic high expectations
