Pros

This is a nice shop, the techs there are great people. I do love the options of shifts allowed.

Cons

Management is very, very, very greedy. You will NEVER get a raise unless you fight like hell for it. I watched this happen to *everyone* - even guys they 'value.' You basically have to go find another job and put in your two weeks before they consider. By that time you just gotta leave. They don't keep promises and the aim is to keep people down. I am not kidding, it's extremely toxic. They push you to sign for other people, for trailers other shifts have completed. I've seen this go wrong, too. If you go to HR about anything there is retaliation. They pay you as little as they can and expect you to run yourself down all shift. Why are we having to be constantly signed into a job even when we are waiting on a trailer and cleaning up? And then whatever you're signed onto is running out of time and they turn around and come at you for your times. (Yes, there is a timer because you click onto specific jobs, like a list where each job times you) it's actually wild and keeps people stressed out. The times keep decreasing, too. Why are you only giving 7min for something? I could go on and on about this. But I won't name names, but wow, I'm appalled by what the company has turned into. These crazy guys are so paranoid they wired cameras all over the shop, even over the lunch room door. They all have microphones. Tell me why that's there?

Pros

The people in most terminal locations are great. And they do their best to keep you moving. And you’re not micromanaged, and you usually have support 24/7. Weekends and some Nights can be a bit of a wait. But it is usually a skeleton crew and they try their hardest to make sure they can fix or help you solve the problem.

Cons

The equipment has you broke down more times than not. And one Terminal of Bison’s has a Tech that will sabotage your truck because he doesn’t like you because you called him out on not doing his job. Also, cost me a week worth of pay. And he will make sure that he spoils everything in your fridge and will puncture a hole in the portable fridge/freezer if you have one. Also that particular terminal will cover for him. You have no way to prove it because they get to cover the camera. But, like I said this is only one terminal. The other terminal’s maintenance teams are great. There is no more break down pay. And what they do pay on the rare chance they pay you anything for being down definitely doesn’t make up for being down multiple days.
