Pros

Bison makes you feel like your apart of the family. I worked with them for 7 years and only left to become a stay at home mom for my children. They have tons of room for growth and opportunity. There is a network of people around to help support you and ensure you are working at your fullest capabilities. The open concept and people really make it a fantastic place to work. They are ALWAYS looking for ways to improve, weather its to go more green or help aide their employees to live a healthier lifestyle. The possibilities for Bison are endless. this is a fantastic place to work.

Cons

It can be extremely stressful because it is such a fast paced company which can cause you to work alot of overtime as a result. But the management are very good about working with you on that.

Pros

Dependent on department, there are great opportunities for advancement in the right locations. Great place to learn a lot about the transportation industry. In Winnipeg or Calgary there are plenty of opportunity to advance and broaden your career horizons. Decent benefits, good compensation.

Cons

Company motto is that they care because they are people driven, this is not in effect shown by upper management at all. They try to build corporate culture and put on a good face but go around and back-stab people without a second thought and undermine their entire culture in doing so. If you are looking to hire on in a remote terminal location like Edmonton or Langley do not expect to see the things like fitness facilities that you will see on their website, although they do exist in Calgary and Winnipeg.
