Pros

* engineering is top notch and a great group of people, pretty much everyone is a joy to work with * product is the best in its market, it DEFINED the market * leadership has been around the block before and knows what they're doing * tech stack is interesting and up to date * lots of responsibility and project ownership is available

Cons

* ops team definitely needs another person or two, it's about a 1:10 ops:sw engineer ratio while I was there * some new management isn't necessarily widely liked and has been a catalyst for several good employees to leave for other opportunities * there's can be sort of a butts-in-seats attitude at times.

Pros

created the industry, and the industry has responded. demand for the solution is skyrocketing. product development is evolving even faster than the market demand, ensuring that the solution is ahead of the curve. fun office culture - everyone truly knows that they are in this together, and the work is reflected and recognized across all teams. senior level transparency is very high.

Cons

not really any, Alewife area for Boston HQ is tough to get to. I initially told recruiters I would not make this commute from South Boston but liked the opportunity too much- still do not regret it.

Pros

Exciting place to work being the pioneer & market leader. Exceptional leadership that values transparency, taking care of employees & customers. Co founders and leadership show integrity in all decision making and update the company regularly on strategy which is highly valued. Great people that make a great company to work for.

Cons

Company is growing quickly and that means we need more space. However, that is changing in early 2018 with an expansion of our office space. The HQ location in Cambridge is not ideal, but being on the red line allows a quick trip to many areas of the city. BitSight does offer benefits that take care of employees, but don't expect this to be a trendy startup with all the frills you see from some other tech companies in Boston.
