As previously discussed, Black Box is now on one Merit Review Process based on your performance and the time since your last increase. Your leader should be able to provide insight into your increase once it is identified. Bonuses are paid based on company performance. We have quarterly all Team Member calls to discuss the performance of the company. The company offers a 401K plan for all Team Members. Thanks, David M. Pasternak, Vice President Human Resources

      Struggling With Transition

      Pros

      There is a lot of opportunity for Black Box to grow. The executive management has made stated the direction they want to take the company. The group of peers is good, hard working, and willing to help.

      Cons

      The plan on how to achieve the direction is at best weak. There is little appreciation for the expended effort - just a general sense of "Black Box wants more from you". Roles are poorly defined, so it is frequently difficult to find the "right" people. The combined effect of poorly defined roles, with everyone trying to pitch in, and mgmt just wanting more is the old analogy of kids chasing a soccer ball.

      I appreciate the feedback. In regard to your concern, we now have one Merit Increase process for the business that is based on your performance and time since your last increase. Previously all of the business units handled increases multiple different ways. Going forward we have a clear process and will be able to provide our Team Members increases. David M.
