Cons
This may have changed by now, but a couple years ago upper management was terrible. Backhanded manuevers. Glad-handing. Heavy cronyism. BD was hiring tons of managers...not people to actually do the work. Very little promotion from within. Since I've been gone seems like people are abandoning ship at alarming rates. Pay isn't great. They try to sell you "the lifestyle," but the office is in a very undesiralbe neighborhood in SLC, which in and of itself is a "weird" at best place to live. At the end I was working 55 hour weeks to keep up and hating life. Was frustrating to see good things the brand had done getting neglected. Built a brand new state of the art ski factory in 2012...Armada was just at it buying presses, etc. like an estate sale. Sure, bad winters the last few, but BD was trying to market the ski biz like their climbing biz and too snobby to see that they are different beasts. At least Atomic is making their skis now...might not suck as bad.
