Pros

Networking skills learned are something lifetime worthy. Exposure to the PE industry does make a difference when needed.

Cons

Business owner doesn't care about you at all. He just want to rip you off while give you as few as possible.

Thank you for your feedback. The management team makes an effort to work with interns so they are getting the most from their experience. They meet with interns regularly to understand what they are trying to accomplish in their careers and assign them projects based on this. They also offer support when it comes to finding jobs at the end of the six months. Want to hear what the former President of Pepsi says about Blackmore and their business model? Go to the following YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsepnBlPT5U Our program was modeled after "Junior Achievement. You get out of it what you put in. If you got nothing out of it, likely you did not apply yourself. Since 2005, we estimate over 300 interns have gone through the program. The internship is a "training program" with clear and measurable written outcomes to develop those who cannot get a job in todays market. Blackmore is only for those who want to cannot get a paid position because they lack training and experience. Those that complete the program gain measurable, repeatable skills valued by employers. Consider you were ripped off by your college. After four years of college you were not employable, they took your money and did not deliver. Your college did not have the respect for you and others of your generation to deliver what the market needs in an employee. In six months at Blackmore you build professional and communication skills that employers value and will pay you to come aboard. Pros

Worked here a few years back, since if the interns were cool...... Otherwise genuinely the most exploitive experience of my life. Stay away

Cons

This place use to try to hire foreign students to do nothing but grunt work child calling and sending emails. You will not get any finance experience! They have not completed an acquisition since 2007. They will lie to you since they are trying to get free labor- I gave up a paid internship through my university to do this...... 4 months of my life I'm never getting back
