Rewarding to feed hungry military personnel at an on base chowhall. Coworkers are open to new hires.

Cons

Equipment/Ovens at military facility are (of course) not owned by the civilian company itself. The number and quality of available working ovens is a systematic issue for most restaurants. Several new ovens purchased years ago specifically for the baking area are not connected (and sit untouched and may never be connected) due to ongoing facility capital improvement project issues with the lines to building itself.
