They provide lots of overtime.

Cons

You are seen as a project consumable. They will chew you up and spit you out and move on. Also, they're racist.

Good pay, rotation and vacation time which you gain in increments. Big changes happening since the sale to quanta

Cons

It’s a “good ‘ol boy system” with a handful of people at the top making final decisions on promotions and wage increases. Upper management lacks diversity and inclusion is a new concept which may or may not take hold.

It's A Great Job All Things Considered

Pros

- Great People - Work environment is very fun once you meet and get comfortable with your crew - Incredibly interesting Job - Field Work is very fun and - Great Real World work Experience - Management are good people - Pay is great right out of college, They pay bonuses but not in the first year of working - Benefits are amazing, free truck, free gas, free housing, etc.

Cons

- Not enough communication - A lot of time is spent in an office - Often fairly in the middle of no where - Chain of Command is very confusing - Very Little Training - You have to get lucky and have a good team who will spend time enough to teach you... Luckily I have an amazing team - Do Not get to stick with same coworkers...friends - You best be a quick learner
