Pros

Blizzard no doubt produces (mostly) AAA games, and they have a very passionate fan base. The clients are very loyal indeed. Blizzard pays competitively (here in Europe at least).

Cons

The management teams (from Team Leader up to EU Directors), are mostly unawares of what's actually going on. The place is a headless blunder, with left arms barking orders to right, right to left, the head is just spinning and counting the dimes, whilst the bottom rung of the internal ladder get ever increasing work loads and targets, with decreasing benefits and increasing stress from all angles. Blizzard was once a place a great place to work, yet as it grew, so did the ineptitude of the managers, people being promoted in to unsuitable roles because "They were good at their last job" despite having no quantification, skills, or the ability to perform well in their new role. Those who maintain ethical work practices are left to decay, and those who "cheat" the strict KPI metrics and requirements laid out are bumped up in both pay and responsibility, yet are barely able to perform the simplest of tasks. Methods and metrics used to grade employees are often change without warning, or are back dated, promises and assurances are broken on a weekly basis, and the only person you can truly rely on is yourself.

Pros

Looks good on your resume. Fun place to work at. Great people and atmosphere. Lots of amenities such as a Gym, Cafe, Volleyball and Basketball Courts. Lots of discounts and perks.

Cons

Substandard Industry pay in a high cost of living area. Workstations are a hit or miss depending on your job and position. Work schedule is quite prejudice depending on the department and if you are hourly or salary.
