      Great environment with room to grow professionally but still is in its infancy for growth.

      Pros

      Environment, professional development plans, always hiring. Never had a problem going to upper management to talk or suggest new ideas. Little amount of corporate politics.

      Cons

      Can be slow some days. Getting answers from upper management on new projects can be slow sometimes. Since its smaller, people dont have a problem interrupting your work when they need something.

      Pros

      Great team to work with in an interesting niche industry. The refurbished diagnostic equipment industry is challenging and ever changing.

      Cons

      Private run family business. The trade business is a difficult one, and the refurbished trade business has lots of pitfalls and short coming associated to it.

      Purposeful work with a company that genuinely cares about people!

      Pros

      You know it's a great place to work when you don't dread the morning commute. Wonderful people and an exciting environment with a healthy work/life balance. Outward focused organization that truly cares about people and the community. There really is a sense of purpose in the work we do, knowing we are all part of helping others – by giving medical imaging equipment a 2nd life we are giving individuals a 2nd chance at life. It's nice to be part of an organization that takes your strengths and passions into consideration and encourages you to utilize them in the workplace. Block also invests back into their employees through personal growth book clubs and team building retreats.

      Cons

      To be honest, I do not have any cons at this point. Coming from employers in the past who were more focused on them$elves, it's been a breath of fresh air to be part of an organization that is very transparent.
