Where do I begin?
1. The entire company is constantly being reshuffled which has led to product not being prioritized (unless you manage the restaurants platform) and our industry specific competitors are eating us alive
2. They have a goal to "go upmarket" but our product can barely handle a $10 million seller on it's own. Anything more than that, we need a partner to come in to save the day because we can't do our job
3. Leadership within the org is a "boys" club. They all started around the same time and climbed their way to the top. Now, no one is held accountable because they all protect each other. There should have been some significant changes to certain leadership teams (BDR leaders for example) a while ago but instead they shifted the blame to our US Head of Sales and let them go.
4. Speaking of BDR, they continue to over hire and underdeliver. They think the answer to their problem is to keep hiring people and firing them when they don't hit quota after 3 months. Apparently the org has a goal of closing a certain amount of GPV and we're extremely behind. So instead of focusing on the current reps, they think the easy way out is to keep hiring to get closer to that number.
5. The product has become incredibly hard to sell. I'm not sure if it's because we are in an election year but this has been the worst year for Square sales.
6. Leadership continues to say that they are listening to feedback yet it feels like it goes through one ear and comes out the other.
