Great org terrible opportunities for growth

Pros

Fully remote That’s pretty much it.

Cons

If you’re looking to start your career in non profit this is a great place. After 2-3 years I’d go elsewhere. Don’t get stuck in the cycle of promotion and growth promises. There is a lot of favoritism and if you don’t fit the mold they’re looking for you’ll never grow. It rarely happens and they love to string people along.

So sad to see it fall apart

Pros

Flexibility and benefits Incredible mission so you feel like you’re making a real difference

Cons

It’s sad to see how a culture that took many years to create was just starting to take shape with DEI and an emphasis on inclusivity, authentic leaders who had empathy and understanding, and major inroads in developing talent. But new leadership came in and wiped it all away in an instant.

Pros

Fun sometimes, used to be a great place to work

Cons

Turn over is high. Leadership is poor. Lack of stability. No room for growth.
