Pros

The people. The mission. Everyone is commited to the mission. Most staff is supportive when it comes to work/life balance. Remote and flexible schedules .

Cons

Does a lot to promote career growth but takes a LONG time and the program is vague and lacks clarity. Promotions more frequent in some departments versus others.

Pros

employees and volunteers are very dedicated development of both programs and fundraising programs are mature and strategic

Cons

In the last few years, the org. made changes to the way it is structured and became much more stringent in what field (regions) could implement. Essentially eliminating any autonomy of the ED and other field leadership and distancing local volunteers. Huge burnout as well. Messaging about healthy culture conflicts with the workload.
