Pros

It is an organization with a great cause and you have the opportunity to work with wonderful people in the public sector. Being able to help patients and their families during a time in their life that is difficult is a very rewarding job experience!

Cons

It is very low pay as with most nonprofits, and in my particular position there was lots of hours expected with small rewards and very little understanding of one's personal time

Lots of feedback on performance and suggestions, great leadership from my direct managers. Excellent work life balance!

Cons

Political Manuvering can be tricky, and I did not think it existed at this company, but it does!
