Pros

You meet a lot of wonderful people - coworkers, volunteers, patients and their families. It's fast-paced and gives less-experienced people an opportunity to join at an entry level position

Cons

Very transactional relationships with donors; difficult to overcome that culture at the local level due to increased financial expectations year after year, regardless of economy. National office lacks understanding of regional markets.

Pros

Amazing mission - targeted, people are passionate and ready to invest in finding a cure and LLS has great potential to be part of the solution!

Cons

Too many high salaries at the top, protecting those roles at all costs. Internally focused, not community focused. Dissenters are not tolerated amongst the middle management. The top and bottom of the organization have a lot of talent being stifled by meeting to have meetings.
