Was a great place to work in the past, but not now.

Pros

working for the mission, great benefits,

Cons

New COO and all his recruits he has brought with him do not understand the relationship part of working at LLS. They say they do, but they continue to let people go under the "restructure" title. They are operating with the retail mentality about people in that everyone is replaceable. There is no value in developing or retaining great employees. It is very sad because this is the opposite of the culture that LLS used to have.

Great Mission, Poor Work Evnironment

Pros

The mission is worthwhile and the employees are great to work with (but not management).

Cons

No training on process or procedures and what little there is, is over 5 years old. Outdated and poor database. Multiple reporting systems with uneven reporting information. Management cares only about how much money is coming in. Posted as 35 hours per week but in reality is closer to 45 to 50 and includes multiple weekends and evenings. This would be okay except the pay is substandard.

Pros

Working at LLS allows you to utilize so many skills including fundraising and sales, relationship building, management, and strategic planning all while working with a collaborative team to fight cancer

Cons

Not a con but LLS is run like a business and we are held accountable to our goals.
