Working for a greater cause; working for something you're proud of and that you're truly benefiting society. Flexible with some work from home days. Great coworkers

Pros

LLS is an amazingly patient-focused organization who really dives head first into research, programs and services that will benefit cancer patients. It's so humbling working with the patients and providing them opportunities to come back and support the mission. The position itself is very rewarding. The individuals that work in this office will have your back from day 1 and help to ensure everything is a success.

Cons

The communication is very poor. Some departments don't work on site which causes the majority of the issues in work not getting done. This has been brought up numerous times. The organization provides plenty of opportunities to provide your opinion, but nothing ever changes or is fixed. The pay isn't adjusted for cost of living which makes it difficult for someone in a large city. This office needs a HR presence due to some of the leaderships decisions and actions. Most event weeks or weekends are spent working endlessly and comp time is not accounted for.
