Pros

Good benefits, decent pay, some roles are interesting, ability to move departments and learn new things

Cons

Lack of advancement, achievements are not valued as much as age and gender, hard to progress once you get to 40s, culture is very odd, too many people doing mundane things

Pros

- The culture. Everyone grinds, is willing to learn, help, and lend a hand when possible. - Secure company. Bloomberg isn't going anywhere anytime soon. - Education in all aspects of financial services. - Exposure to sophisticated clients. - Great compensation. - Very good benefits. - Lots of PTO for fintech. - Generally, very talented colleagues. - One of the best places to start if you have any interest in working either in tech or finance. Exposure to both sides of those industries. - Effort to hire diverse workforce.

Cons

- No equity or ownership in the company's direction (almost entirely owned by Michael Bloomberg). - Career advancement is possible, but beyond management structure there aren't enough opportunities in diverse roles. - Though there is a goal to have 30% of management be women or POC by 2022, the current leadership and overall roster in Sales is not nearly as diverse as it should be. - Sales department can be very much a "numbers game" as goals can be arbitrary and change at any time.
