Pros

* Flexible schedule. * Enjoyed working with many of the families and clients. * Holiday party was decent

Cons

* Communication and leadership concerns. * Employee concerns did not always receive timely follow-up or resolution after being raised to management. * Important emails and employment-related requests often went unanswered or required repeated follow-up. * Required to travel long distances (often 2+ hours each way) to conduct assessments for several cases that ultimately were not staffed. * Staff working with highly aggressive clients could benefit from additional training, resources, and ongoing clinical support. * Sign-on bonus was not paid proactively after employment requirements were met and required repeated follow-up before payment was received. * My final paycheck was not received on the expected payday. * I was informed that my salary would be significantly reduced if billable hour expectations were not met, despite insufficient client hours being available to consistently meet those expectations. * I was verbally told there would be opportunities for advancement, but those opportunities ultimately did not materialize. * Information communicated to a family did not accurately reflect my clinical recommendations or discussions, resulting in an avoidable misunderstanding. * The separation process did not include a formal exit interview or structured offboarding. * Some leadership decisions suggested a limited understanding of ABA service delivery and the operational realities of supporting clinicians in the field.
